Pergamum
Pergamum, the capital of Hellenistic Pergamum Kingdom that has no shore to the sea is one of the most essential tourist centers of the country with its historical treasures.
Acropolis
AcropolisPergamum Acropolis is built on a very steep peak. The ruins of city of Pergamum are spread on a very wide area on the peak. On the upper part of the peak which had became a settlement area even in early ages, there are palaces of the kings and buildings related to those, along the eastern wall of the castle.
Pergamum Theatre
Theatre of Pergamum was built on the steep slope on nortwest end of Asklepion. It had a capacity of 10,000 people. This most steep theatre structure of Western Anatolia was set on the semis-circle shaped cavity on nortwest side of Asklepion.

Pergamum Asklepion
Asklepion of Pergamum was the most essential health centre of Pergamum in early ages. The temple that had also consisted of several treatment units functioned as a hospital. Here, some of the treatment methods were thermal springs, mud baths, sports, theatre and psychotherapy.
Serapis Temple (Red Court)
Serapis Temple (Red Court)The biggest building of the city Pergamum. It is called as "Red Court", built with scarlet bricks. 19 mt part of the building with total size 60x26 mt is still standing. There are tower like circular additional structures at both sides of the building. The church built inside the Scarlet Courtyard during Byzantium age is one of the first seven churches of Christianity. The walls remained today are in the size of a human being. Serapis Temple is located at Acropolis exit of Pergamum city center today.
